Great service and food. Kelsey waited on us and was excellent. We were seated and served drinks quickly. Tried the Moon Ranch Chicken on a pretzel roll - delicious. Prices reasonable and bar is a fun spot.

Delicious food and an extensive menu. The daily specials look great. It's about a 12 minute walk from Reading Hospital which was very convenient. Excellent service, too.

Tried this place for the first time Friday night. The service was friendly, accurate, and efficient. We sat at a big table near the bar. It was a bit noisy and crowded but our party of six really enjoyed themselves. We ordered mozzarella sticks and onion rings as appetizers. They came out crispy and hot! A variety of entrees were picked. I personally had the Brewers strip steak. It was flavorful and perfectly prepared to my liking. Everyone else in my party was pleased. The only negative was the broccoli, which was completely dry and flavorless. Also, it was noisy. FYI, you can find all sorts of people here - families, younger college students, middle aged folks, etc. It was a comfy hangout.

I love their cheesy bacon fries and their wings. Service is A+. Drinks are always flowing.

Great staff, great country feel in the atmosphere. Love the music as well! For $4.50 i got a 22oz lager not bad. Also the kac and cheese and mash potatos were delicious! Recommend coming here round 4 on a monday

Traveled for business and ate here. There seems to be a lot of regular locals that eat here nightly but was able to get a seat at the bar. Decent bar food and great beer selection. It's a short walk from the Holiday Inn hotel so it was convenient.

As far as local eateries go, it would be tough to beat Brewer's Bar and Grill. On a recent trip to Reading, my family went back and forth on where to have dinner for the last night of our stay. It was between Brewer's and a popular chain restaurant. Let's see what good places there are around here, I argued in my final push to find a local spot. We were greeted by a warm ambiance of mirth, as the Steelers-Eagles game was on half of the TVs around which the bar was centered. The atmosphere was lively and the staff friendly. Immediately, we could tell it was the real deal, as the menu offered such local fare as pork and sauerkraut for New Year's, the regional favorite scrapple and an amazing, giant hot pretzel served with spicy brown mustard. Our server was super friendly and attentive. The kids got their cold drinks right away, and the beer selection was on-point. Our order was delicious throughout: mozzarella sticks, a cheeseburger, chicken tenders, a giant pretzel and a grilled chicken sandwich. (The kids also got menus they could color and crayons to keep them busy.) The entire atmosphere was a blast, and it would've been a great place to have a few more beers!

A great place for lunch. Good atmosphere and ample menu selections; something for everyone. The service was friendly and helpful, and the server gave us plenty of time to chat, checking back occasionally to see if we'd decided without making us feel like we needed to hurry. Parking might be a little tight, but you can't hold that against the business.
